An independent investment company, early in its journey
South Stream Capital LLC is a newly established, independent investment company based in North Carolina. We are building the foundation of a long-term investment platform: careful underwriting, prudent allocation of capital, and patience.
The company is at an early stage. Nothing on this website describes assets under management, investment returns or completed transactions of the company.

Our aim is to build an independent investment platform over time. As the platform develops, it may incorporate AI-enabled financial analysis and investment solutions. These are future possibilities, not existing products or services.
Founder
Jaeho Kwon
Founder
Jaeho Kwon is the founder of South Stream Capital. Before founding the company, he worked in Seoul in investment banking and structured finance: first at IBK Securities, in its Investment Banking Division, and later at Korea Asset Investment, in its Investment Division. His work covered real estate investment, investment banking and structured finance, including cross-border real estate financings.
He is pursuing an MBA at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business (expected 2027).
Mr. Kwon's prior experience was gained at those institutions and is separate from South Stream Capital. The company is newly established and has no track record of its own.
